We’ll take care of everything you need for a fantastic day; picking you up in executive transport from pickup and drop off locations across London and the South, taking you to points of specific interest across the New Forest. Our expert guides will be on hand all day, offering an abundance of information before taking you to lunch in one of our favourite local eateries.
Walking in the New Forest is an excellent way to enjoy the scenery, atmosphere and animals, but from April to July you’ll find that certain areas are off limits to avoid disturbance to rare breeding birds, such as snipe, curlew and redshank.
You will get up close and personal with the vast array of wildlife across the forest and will experience the splendour of the heathland and moorland mix. Our guides will introduce you to the fauna and flora that inhabits the woodland and you will be educated in the ancient ways of the forest and the modern needs to sustain the heritage for many hundreds of years to come.
From William the Conqueror naming the forest in 1079 to modern-day artisans who still ply their trade, get a glance into what it is like to work and live in the New Forest.
You’ll also enjoy a wonderful traditional and locally grown lunch in one of our many fantastic partner pubs, restaurants and eateries, or potentially a BBQ in the forest (weather permitting).
The walk will finish with coffee at a scenic spot to soak in the last memories, deep in the forest. We will also visit a local village or town for free-time and shopping, and provide further photo opportunities that allow you to gather treasures that last a lifetime.
Three reasons you need to experience this tour:
- It’s the best way to enjoy expert guided walking in the New Forest
- It’ll help you understand the history of the forest from 1079 to the modern-day
- You’ll have the chance to get up close and personal with the fauna, flora and heritage of the forest.
