You’ll start the action packed day by learning basic kayaking skills from our expert guides, giving you the confidence to explore at your own pace and experience the unique scenery as you travel down the meandering river estuary.

This is one of the most peaceful, tranquil and awe-inspiring ways to explore the rivers and estuaries of the New Forest. On the day you will most likely find hidden creeks, spot wildlife and learn more about the history of the area.

90-minutes of exhilaration will be followed by a relaxing and breathtaking exploration around Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu. Inside the exciting Maritime Museum and Buckler's Hard Story you can find out about the history of this unique 18th century shipbuilding village. Discover the fascinating story of Montagu Town as it was originally known. Learn about the machine gun that fired round and square bullets and see characters from the village at the time of Henry Adams, the Master Shipbuilder who lived and worked at Buckler's Hard. Discover a sense of the deep history and connection with luminaries including Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson, Sir Frances Chichester and his Gipsy Moth IV, which circumnavigated the world and get a real sense of life in Beaulieu during the 18th and 19th centuries.

After soaking up the rich history on water and land it will be time to enjoy a delicious lunch, with plenty of time to explore the village shops of Beaulieu.

Look out for the donkeys, ponies and cattle roaming free up the High Street, something you don't see everyday. We will also stop for further photo opportunities on the way back to your drop off point, completing what is a must-do discovery of one of the most beautiful places in England.
